'Trinidad Girls' is a double portrait of two sisters, young and beautiful women from North London. The artist takes inspiration from other artists and creatives who she met in her community. Sophia and Gabby follow their mum's passion for designing Carnival costumes. Inspired by women from Trinidad and their family history, they both express themselves as designers and models during the famous Carnivals.
Pilarczyk aims to introduce viewers to vibrant portraits of Londoners representing different backgrounds and cultures. As a Polish artist, she's fascinated by the diversity of people worldwide and wants them to be noticed and appreciated.
